Effective January 1, 2008, pursuant to section 239.2 of the Municipal Act, 2001 as amended, individuals may request that an investigation be undertaken to determine whether a municipality or local board or a committee of either, has complied with the closed meeting rules contained within the Municipal Act or their Procedure By-law.
There will be a $25.00 application fee for all requests. Cheques should be made payable to the Treasurer, County of Essex. |
